swagbucks and inboxdollars / inboxpounds for uk both have really good reputations. I struggled with swagbucks at first being from Ireland, but now they have a facebook page dedicated to uk/ire members and more surveys available to us.
Just wondering what everyone's views are on ticket touting, as in buying regular priced tickets from ticketmaster or similar and then selling them on the classifieds or ebay when the gig has sold out? Is it unfair on the genuine fans - or should they have got up earlier to get their tickets? I've ne...
Thought it might be a good idea to have a Fiverr gig brainstorming thread? Does anyone on here use Fiverr to buy or sell gigs? I have bought a couple of gigs, and generally have been really impressed with them. What I can't understand is the people offering YouTube video's,etc that are going to take...
Scalping? hehe haven't heard that one, they've always been ticket touts here :) I agree that real fans will always go the extra mile to get their tickets - I was almost going to drive to Gary Barlow's house personally when ticketmaster crashed the day Take That tickets went on sale LOL If you only d...
wow - i was going to post something really similar to this earlier on! The last 2 days I've been messing with site design, reading forums, checking FB, and not actually "doing" anything...and about ready to throw the towel in on it all. Then today I had to ask my other half for €20 to go t...
No, it wasn't for actual microjobs sites, sorry I wasn't very clear. It was in the tasks section on Mylot, some of the tasks were to join membership sites and schemes, anywhere from $2-$5.
Thanks for the advice, I think i'll move on from Mylot!
you can put the copyright on, but you would have to track down anyone that has used the photo and sue them - would be quite difficult! watermarking them might be easier?
shutterstock and stockvault are quite good for free ones, as is google images LOL - not that I would do that of course!
I was just writing a blog post with a half formed idea for a money making method, but as I was writing the idea grew a bit - and I think I may have just hit on something that hasn't really been done yet. Now I don't know whether to keep it for myself and give it a go, or fluff it out and expand into...
Pine Cone research is a great survey site. I know you usually have to do a search online for openings. Once you join you will receive emails every now and again for surveys. To complete a survey it's like $3.00 and the survey is usually around 5 minutes long. Also, if you quality they can send you ...
we should form a "team MOC" for sites like these and have weekly brainstorming sessions! 10 brains are better than one - not sure who should be in charge of the paypal account tho
I tried inbox pounds, which is the new uk version of inbox dollars but the surveys and emails are only for uk or us residents and as it's new there really isn't much else to do. I know i'd forget to cancel offers so I don't even touch them! I havent heard of fusion cash - is that US based?
sugarhill enjoys the daily payouts from cloud crowd and jvzoo is an affiliate program that pays instantly, then there's the obvious ebay and places like musicmagpie for your dvd's. Selling articles is probably the way to go for the best return
You register your site, and the advertiser will look at it and make you an offer - if you don't have much traffic then you won't be offered much, you state on your ad the minimum amount you will accept and it's up to you and the advertiser to negotiate a final price - only around $6 if you don't hav...
i dont have any experience of it...yet:) but i did do a little research when i was trying to decide on my own path and it's something i'd love to try when i get my sites a little more established so i can devote some time to it, there's a post on my blog somewhere that covers the basics. what topic ...
there's nothing to be afraid of as long as you have some support - this place is great for that :) Try and get some *bonus* money to start, like selling something on Ebay - set yourself a budget and time limit, work out what you want to do and go for it! I read something earlier that really stuck - ...
Thanks for the advice bellamamma - go ahead and post the link to your site, I'd love to see it and it sounds like it would be really interesting to lots of the forum members. You can put your link in your sig once MOC has decided your a real person
grr wrote a long reply and lost my connection! the blog looks great, well done! I would prob monetise with amazon, recommend some good parenting books and educational toys, etc - or go with Affiliate window and offer discount shopping codes and sales alerts, or clickbank online courses... the more y...
hook your blog up to networked blogs and each post will automatically get tweeted and posted to your fb page :) i'm having a lot of success with reddit too atm, not sure how it would work with fiction - but def one to look into. I posted a link on there late last nite and woke up to 112 visitors fro...

You may be best off starting a blog, then offering your services for free to begin with on sites such as myblogguest to build up samples of your work. When you guest post you will be allowed a link in your author byline, so use that to get exposure to your blog. Also try blogging.org or build a prof...
