Re: What Programs Do You Hate?

I'm not a big fan of Synovate for surveys. I found them on a blog that recommended them when they were "hiring" new survey-takers, but I haven't had the greatest experience with them. You gain points for each survey you take, and then once you reach a certain threshold, they pay out in dol...

Cloud Crowd vs Amazon mTurk?

Do any of you have experience with both, and which has the better earning potential? I have been using Amazon mTurk to perform short tasks for a whole now. I can usually bring in a few dollars per day just from doing casual hits (i.e. not really concentrating on making a lot of money). I have not jo...

Re: What programs pay fast?

I think some of the survey companies pay pretty quickly (i.e. Pinecone Research). I did a survey with them, and they sent me a check in the mail only a couple of days afterward. Also, Amazon Mturk has paid pretty quickly for me in the past. I believe short answer/writing sites like Textbroker and Ch...

Re: New CPC network, using social buttons

I think this is a pretty interesting concept. It sounds like it may be difficult to earn money with this kind of CPC network though because it requires the user to go through multiple steps. Personally, if I were a user, I'd click on the social network button to share. Then if I went back to the sit...

Re: User Testing

I know there are certain user testing requesters on Amazon MTurk as well. You need to take a qualification test to ensure that your review comments on the websites are up to par for their standards. Then you are allowed to accept HITS by those requesters. I'm not sure how legitimate they are though....

Re: Stock Photo's

I'm not trying to sell photos, but I do take pictures of various things for my blog. Is there a stock photo site that you guys have used to license them so that others cannot freely steal them from my blog? Does Zazzle work for that? Is it enough just to include a disclaimer that the photos are copy...

Re: How hard do you work for success

Sugarhill and dziomek: What app do you use to track your time? Is it free from online somewhere? I'm not sure if it would be considered success, but I currently have just gotten started making money online. In one week, I've made maybe $20 by writing for revenue share, doing get-paid-to sites such a...

Re: Writing for revenue sharing sites?

dziomek: Which revenue sharing site has worked best for you so far? I started out on HubPages because it was the first one I found, but then I found out about other sites such as Infobarrel, Squidoo, Triond, Textbroker, Knoji, Helium, and Yahoo Associated Content. Because there are so many options o...

Re: Revenue share writing or Independent blogging?

Well it looks like your opinions all pair up well with the research I've done. In the end, I'm probably going to do both for a while and see how successful I am. Then maybe I'll settle on one - or do one more and the other one just for fun in my free time. :) Thanks for your opinions. Sugarhill - Th...

Re: How many programs are you working?

I do mTurk, write for HubPages, a couple of survey sites, and Swagbucks. So far I haven't really made that much money yet though. I really need to try to figure out a technique to see if I can do better. I just started, so I think I probably have a lot of room to grow.

Your favorite website hosting service?

I've heard great things about BlueHost and Host Gator because they have good customer service and are less expensive than other services. Do you guys have any other recommendations for hosting services?

Which ad services do you use to make money blogging?

I'm thinking of starting a blog, and I know that a lot of people use Google AdSense. What other ad services do you use to make money when blogging? How about for contextual ads that are inline with your text? I'm not aiming to make a huge amount of cash - just a few hundred bucks a year would be nice.

Re: Global Opinions/Synovate

I am also signed up with Synovate. I enjoy doing surveys for them as well, although the money has been slow coming in for me. It seems that for one reason or another, my household is not qualified for some of their surveys. Another great survey site is Pinecone Research, although it is also difficul...

Re: How to earn money writing online?

There are a ton of sites that allow you to earn money writing online. Some of them are revenue sharing sites where you get a percentage of ad revenue from users clicking on ads shown with your article. These include: HubPages, squidoo, infobarrel, and triond. There are other sites that can also offe...

Revenue share writing or Independent blogging?

Which have you had more success with? The thing I like about revenue sharing sites is that you don't have to be tied down to a single niche. You can write a few great articles in several different categories. If you own an independent blog, although you get 100% of the ad revenue, it can be difficul...

Re: Writing for revenue sharing sites?

I just started writing for hubpages - and from what I've heard from other users, if you want to make money, you have to work hard. You have to write constantly and actively use SEO (search engine optimization) and backlinks. You have to have the motivation to constantly promote and market your hubs ...

Re: Keep Spirits Up

That is really encouraging. I've just started trying to make money at home, and the biggest problem I've faced is wasting hours of my time online. It's so frustrating for me because I think, 'All that time I spent looking for leads, I could have been making money!' A journal or app to write down you...
