Online Targets and Goals

I was just wondering if anyone else had any targets to achieve in the online world with regards to making money?
I have set myself the goal of having my rent paid for each month by the end of 2012. Admitedly this is only £400 per month but I figure I am better off hitting small goals and working my way up to driving my white Lamborghini Murchelago down my town high street.

Tell me your goals and what you are doing to acheive them.

What is working and what isn't.

Maybe we should all share the good, the bad and the ugly, and all get there a little faster.

What do you think?

I absolutely have an overall daily, monthly and yearly goal. When I first started, it seemed a little far fetched, but as I get better at what I'm doing, it looks possible. Just have to give it more time and effort.

I always start with easy targets to achieve like first to earn at least a dollar a day. Now my target is to at least earn $3 a day which is not much but because I can't be online all the time, I think this is a reasonable target to aim for.

My goal is to earn at least $10/day before I get lazy lol. The later it gets the more I want to quit and do other stuff like watch some t.v. or just go out somewhere with my kids instead of being stuck at home all day long.

I work with small goals for myself but only because I find that without them I get lazy and think that what I'm working on is not all that important. For me it's not about achieving the goal per-se, it's more of a reminder that I need to treat what I'm doing as work and to continue to take it seriously so I can get where I want to be.

I love writing down my goals and accomplishments. Doing this makes me feel so much better and at ease knowing that i have everything laid out there and i am working on those things instead of procrasinating.

I was just wondering if the people that posted in this thread were reaching their daily goals consistently? I've been very consistent this month. Everything came together much sooner than I thought it would.

This is just supplemental income for me so I have a goal of $5 a day. That would be a nice little bonus pot each month. I think the problem with online earning, is that there is always a ceiling unless you learn how to earn some on your own... like market your own products or earn of you r own blog. Just doing clicks and small tasks will never make you the big big bucks.

I wouldn't say that is completely true. I think if you can find the right sites and get your work done correctly and efficiently, you can build a workflow that would add up over a week and a month. I feel like I'm in the process of doing just that right now.

But you're still going to have a limit. Even if you are the most efficient worker possibly maybe you'll make (at most) $10 an hour- doing tasks on site like mturk, paid to write etc. working a 40 hour work week that's $400 a week. Not a bad income, but certainly not striking it rich. And that is being extremely optimistic. If you really want to make a lot of money you need to find a way to earn a passive income. Which means your sites are continuously earning for you when you aren't actively sitting there working them.

No, I'm not suggesting that you don't need some sort of passive income, but there are sites that if you take advantage of their opportunities, you can make a living equivalent to working an office job and make more than $10 an hour. You can't strike it rich with most jobs, if that were the case, more people would be willing to work for a certain amount of years to do it.

I have thought of a few passive ways to make an income online, but even with those ways, it's not as passive as you are implying in my opinion. I don't think there is much of anything that you can be successful at passively. You may not have to grind on a daily basis, but you have to do some work. You reap what you sow.

Really? :o I've had people sign up for Cloud Crowd, but I don't know where they are coming from. I only placed the link in like five places and I think two of them were taken down. Cool and of course, I wasn't expecting $10. $5 would be fine.
