Is eBay Struggling?

I know a lot of peole are moving away from eBay these days, but are they beginning to struggle? I've noticed an increase in adsense on the site - do they seriously need to advertise that way with the fees they already charge?! I also spotted a TV commercial for them last night, I don't remember ever seeing one before...

I have seen a commercial for them a long time ago. However, it was when they were first starting out. I do believe they are probably struggling though because many people have left them for sites like Ecrater which does not charge. I know my wife sold on the site for a long time and then she started to make one or two dollars per sale because the fees of everything took her profit.

I've seen their commercial before I doubt that they are struggling since they charge such pricey fees.

Does ecrater work closely with PayPal? Maybe all of the hold times are causing some issues with people and they are preferring to give up the entire partnership.

Alot of people are getting fed-up with all the fee increases, I am currently going to Bidpalace, they only charge 0.50 per auction as a sutup fee, and no other costs.

It is their site, which makes me hesitant to think of going there. Third-person false advertising like that just irks me. However there are a lot of sites I want to try, but most of the stuff I was going to sell on ebay actually got sold through facebook yard sale groups in my area.
