alot of hard work, many sleepless nights and dire obsession has gone into this board as you may well appreciate. and the work is not done, i have some major mods in development at the moment to simply create a better user experience, still deciding on facebook intergration etc but will only do so if it will be of ultimate benefit to MOC members. I wont sell out to make a few measly dollars on google ads as they spoil the look of most sites in my opinion, and worse is they slow down page response times,..

what would be your opinion?

I think that you should make this board an example of how to make money with a message board. You should go through all of the various options and ways to maximize what you have here and let us know when and who you are using, so we can learn from you in regards to the speed of the board, how different sponsors look on the board, etc.

You could teach a lot without having to get into specific nickel and dime details of the finance aspects. Ballpark figures would be sufficient.

I am with you on that

I am not going to sell out on this site for a few dollars, content is important to me, and site fluidity is a must. Giving MOC members the ability to promote and backlink or reciprocal link to their own web sites is benefitial to themselves and the MOC web site also.
