Increasing Clickbank Commissions?

Unread postby » Waynefire » Sat, 23 June 2012, 10:53 pm | #1 of 10 |

I read where if you change your Amazon password on a regular basis you can get more sales, found this to be true. Changed it and the next day had six sales. Did not change it and no sales. Is this the same for Clickbank or not? I am getting close to 1500 hops in a week, but no sales at all for products with a high gravity!

This sounds like a loophole that will be shut sooner than later, don't risk having your account closed with it. That's just my advice standing way on the outside of things.

I'm not sure what you mean by changing your password for more sales? What's the loophole?

I would be leery to change my password regularly. With CB they generate a password for you if I'm not mistaken. I don't know how changing the password would affect your sales, as it is supposed to be a secured feature. I would be afraid to, as I wouldn't want my account frozen. Wouldn't asking for a new one raise alarm bells on their part; thinking someone is trying to hack your account?

Yeah, I would be careful with Amazon. They are really strict about rules and such. If you are going to do it, I wouldn't do it a lot. That will definitely bring attention to yourself. They will think someone is hacking your account.

How would changing your password generate sales?

Do they not have a security feature where you are not allowed to change any information for seven days after making an email address change? I do not remember if that is CB or Amazon. I do know I'm not about to go changing my password just to see if it generates more sales. I like the fact my account is not frozen, and by changing passwords too often it might become just that.

I would have to strongly agree. Amazon is way too big and probably important to your online earnings to take a risk of getting shut down and unable to work with them in the near or distant future. Think long term with this, not short term.

I do not know what the loop hole is. However, I noticed that changing my password once a month to prevent hacking, has led to sales. For example, I changed my PW in January and ended up with 50 bucks in sales. Then in February changed the PW again and had 40 in sales.
