Getting traffic to your blog

When I had a blog I could always get traffic through SEO, but we always want more ... I no longer run a blog but as I came across another traffic method, getting traffic to your blog through http://instantblogsubscribers.com/, it sparks ones interest! I am missing the blogging and just might start up a backend blog here again. Might be worth a look for the current bloggers here. :)

it's basically a loop - you click the link in other members' mail and you earn credits, 4 for clicking the link - then when it is your turn for your mail to be sent the number of credits you've earned deems how many people get your mail.
It seems most are just pushing out other pyramid schemes hyip and grrrrr zeekler rewards, I'm really not sure that the mails are going to be of any use, members are just going to click your links to get their own points - you'd need a REALLY snazzy landing page to grab attention and convert to sales, but you can't mess with their blog template so they all look pretty much the same.

Yes you can unsubscribe but then you won't earn your credits for the next mail round.

So Genie, how does this work? Do you sign up and go to other peoples blogs for a certain time frame, then you get traffic to your site in return? Is this like a traffic exchange type of program or what? I am confused by what you mean on the emails and credits.

sorry waynefire, im not too sure myself! its not the easiest programme to use. when you sign up you get your own blog with 100 subscribers already waiting to get your first post, but you have to wait your turn for your post to get mailed to the subscribers. You will then become a subscriber on other blogs and their posts will get sent to you - if you go and visit the post for 30 seconds you then get 4 credits, which means your post will be sent to 4 more people. when its your turn on the mailing round your latest post gets sent out to as many subscribers as you have managed to accumulate.

does that make any more sense? its quite difficult to explain! you can also get credits from referring people and buying the upgrades

I think this info is right - but i could be very wrong, i didnt spend a lot of time with it as it all got a bit confusing for me LOL

Is this site free or do we have to pay for their services?

it's free - there are upgrades that you can buy, but i'd recommend trying it first

ok sent my first mailing yesterday - it was promoting cash blurbs, the easiest sell i could think of! the mail went to 140 people (including me which i'm not happy about!) and I got 2 clicks as a result, neither clicked on the links in the post - the blog has had 26 views in total.

Not a great start, but as a free member i can do a mailing round every 7 days, so i will concentrate on building my credits for a week and see if it does any better next time :)
Im thinking of promoting cashblurbs on IBS (why the heck did they think those initials would be a good idea?! LOL) and promoting IBS on cash blurbs heheh

good thinking genieswish cross promoting like that, keep working on that method its a good one to persist with. just think if the mail went to 100,000 people how many click through's then and if you advertise those programs properly conversion rates should also become a factor too.

Well cashblurbs is certainly going viral, use the categories there to maximise exposure and potential of your blog site. This one sounds a bit like viralinbox networking, it works but how I hate to repeditively watch and click ads lol isn't that what bots are for?

Yes viralinbox looks a little complex when you first get into it take your time and you'll start to get it. It's the same build up points for emails by looking at websites for 30 seconds then clicking a colored box to collect the points. I havent reviewed it because it would be a complicated post but maybe soon. Hopefully people will just check it out :)
