I looked over this program and I would advise people to NOT join. The restrictions and fees associated with it make it less than beneficial. For example, the only way you get paid money is through their debit card. A card that has a $2.00 enrollment fee, so the first $2.00 that you make, goes right back to them for your card.

They have a limit of $5.00 a week, unless you are able to get referrals and I believe I saw how it equates to about .25 for each referral and I think $10 is the ceiling.

The other issue that I have is some of the potential fees with the debit card. Say that you don't watch any ads for a few months, which is likely because a lot of people have ebbs and flows with these types of programs. But, if there is inactivity on the card for about 90 days, you are subject to fees. Also, if you want to cancel the card and get a check for the money on the card, that's a $10 fee.

You would need to spend the money on the card first and then cancel. That doesn't seem like such a problem, but as you know, many stores try to put a minimum on your card use.

Granted, I'm writing this post mainly by memory, but I didn't see anything that would make you want to join this program and many ways to end up paying out money if you do.

yea well it was something ive never heard of and for the trouble it sounds its not really worth trying, there are a lot of other trouble free ways to make $10 than a system like that.

You're right there are many better ways. I just keep seeing a quick, little shoutout for it from various people that I don't believe has looked through the rules of it all. They weren't even people that were trying to get referrals, they were just making suggestions on how to make some money on the side.

Wow, free $5 a wek and you advise people not to join?? Yes if you want to cancel your card there is a fee, that's normal. I've been a member of jingit for 6 months and have a debit card with $65 on it. I've used it a few times at the grocery store and it works just fine. It's the easiest $5 you'll get all week. Love it.

Yeah I joined this program a few days ago but I quit right after I saw those ridiculous fees on the card. Also, you need a smartphone to check in products at stores or something like that. The only cool thing they do have is you can purchase music with your balance right there from the site. That might be interesting for someone who wants to earn a few songs for free.

It's a one-time $2.00 fee. Then no fee again as long as you either add a balance to the card or use the card once every 90 days. You really consider that a ridiculous fee? That's fine that you don't do it, more money for me

If it works for you, then great. But, of all the ways to make money online, I don't think this is one of the better ways to do it. They could deposit that $5 onto a personal debit card the same way they do onto a Jingit card. The reason behind the card is to advertise just that much more for them because every time you use it, you're flashing their name.

There are too many ways for a person to accidentally owe money to make it worth it to me. I stand my original assessment. Anyone that is interested in it can look them up and decide for themselves.

Once you pay the fee you have the card... yes it's advertisment but the card is backed through USBank so once you pay the originiation fee it basically is a personal debit card. It's not a get rich scheme by any means but it's easy easy money. Today I was at walmart and scanned 3 items in the store, all from the same aisle and made $1.50. Which I put on my card while in the store from the phone app and went and spent right away. That's service if you ask me!

Anybody can go to the Jingit website, read all of the particulars and make the decision for themselves. I gave my assessment of the situation. I prefer opportunities where I get ALL of the money that I've earned. The only exception would be the payment processors and I consider that the cost of doing business.

You may be one of the few people that won't have to pay anything more than the initial $2.00, but there are plenty of people that are paying some sort of fee dealing with this venture, that's the point of the fees. To catch the ones that don't see the trap.

How are the fees charged by the payment processors 'the cost of doing business' but the fees charged by the pre-paid debit card someone else taking your money? Just wondering how and where you draw the line.

If a company can only pay you through a payment processor such as PayPal or Amazon Payments and you want to work for that company, then that is the cost of doing business. However, I don't have to work for a company and then pay them for a way to receive my money. That is not the cost of doing business when there are other ways that the company could easily pay you without you starting in the hole, if you want your money.

But seriously, are you really that upset because I advised against Jingit? It's only $5 a week! It can't be that important to you. If it works for you, then keep working for them.

I tried them out and was severely disappointed. If I did not have a smart phone I could not earn a ton of money. Then they have those caps and such. I ended up deleting my account because they were to obtrusive for me to make any money on the site.

Well, at least you looked over the site and even tried the program for yourself. At least you got out before you owed money to them or U.S. Bank. Would you recommend Jingit to anyone else?

I'm not upset I just dont' see how a paypal fee vs. a debit card fee is any different so I was wondering what you saw as the difference.

And FWIW, you would never owe them money. It's not like if you kept your account activated and didn't use it that you would owe them money you never earned or had already spent.

If this works for you, why are you so pressed to understand why it doesn't work for me or the other people in this thread that also see the flaws? Why do you need me to keep explaining an already fully expressed opinion?

I didn't ask you to explain it again, I was just re-stating why I had asked.

I did think it was important to point out to other people that you won't ever OWE them money in the sense that you will have to pay them money you never earned because that's what it sounded like to me. They might take money off the debit card, but that is VERY common practice in the US for most pre-paid debit cards. If the balance was 0 though it's not like they would send you a bill.

I agree, I tried this site and didn't it fine it worthwhile for myself. There seem to be a lot of them out there that are really not worth the time. I know that no one can expect to get rich clicking, etc, but some of these sites are just ridiculous.

And I appreciate that you think I have good d tenacity But honestly most of the money I make at jingit is by letting the video run on my phone while I'm in the car waiting to pick the kids up at school. Which is back to my original point, if I can make a buck or two when I would normally just be sittin ghtere staring out the window then why not...
