Thats alot of advertising exposure from which Facebook profit. There are teams of engineers and advertising/psychology experts creating the users experience on Facebook.

Everyone's profile is customised to themselves as far as advertising goes. And it seems they know you really well ... Your details are the product they sell to Advertisers, so the Advertisers can customise your AD experience for the best conversion results, based on their many years of market research and online content delivery.

I didn't realize their strategy until I saw that. Their biggest problem might be the fact that a lot of Facebook users just don't trust Facebook. As more people find out how they are targeted and sold, Facebook will have to find a new way to monetize their users.

People should indeed realize that today's advertising strategy is all on the internet. Many of their markets spend most of their time online than outside the virtual world and having said that, Facebook is really a genius coming up with their advertising deals. And in all fairness for their price, they're much reasonable than any other deals!
