Hello all and MOC u said i should post links and everything for my new mid end gaming system here so i will.
Be aware this is a text/tech wall of pc whoryness.

Ok so this is my base setup for july

CPU I3 2100 @ 3.1 Ghz its a nice cpu it beats the AMD FX 4100 quad core @ 4.0 Ghz
http://ark.intel.com/products/53422/
GPU Powercolor 6850
http://www.powercolor.com/au/products_f ... asp?id=291
Ram Corsair DDR3 1333 Mhz 240 pin ram 4 chips @ 16 gigs
http://www.corsair.com/cmv4gx3m1a1333c9.html/
Case and PSU Thermaltake Commander MS-I
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?mai ... s_id=19141

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Pro3/

http://www.ocztechnology.com/ocz-agilit ... 5-ssd.html
Hard drive 1
1 TB 5400 rpm Black for my storage needs
Hard drive 2 Western Digital Cavier Green 1 TB
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?mai ... s_id=19780

Thats about it some parts are from my old system
and some new.I have/will spend about 480$ with postage by july.
Most of it suits my needs the extra 1tb green drive is for work purposes and recording.
All the parts i have used and tested before so thats not a issue for me.

Next on my list is a
CPU i5 2500K Overclocked @ 4.0 - 4.4 Ghz 220$
High end cpu cooler havent decided yet spending 50$
Aywun 750W MEGA POWER Elite Series 80PLUS Certified Power Supply 120$
http://www.aywun.com/ProductDetails.asp?ID=137
After all that i will have spent about 800-900 maybe less if i sell old stuff.
I will be overclocking everything to its max @ a stable limit.
Then next year i will upgrade my 6850 to either to a 7950 there about 380$

I think i coverd it all let me know what u guys think and question sugestions.

My main uses are work on youtube so editing and rendering videos.
Also recording the games i do thats why i need the 1TB green.
Those are the most taxing things on the system the rest of it is.
Watching movies web browsing and basic shit.Maybe some 3D model work and GFX.
I dunno what i am supposed to put here oh well.

I like it when the different slots on the mobo are different colors. Otherwise it looks pretty sweet. So the dual-core Intel is better than a quad-core AMD? I'm asking because I'll be building a new rig myself in the near future. I'm actually considering a 6 core AMD chip.

Yes that i3 2100 beats a overclocked amd fx 4100.Most new amd fx bulldozer cpus are bullshit.Your better off buying a older AMD Phenom and a 6 core runs very poorly in most applications.U only need a dual core for most things only game that i would recomend a quad core to is battlefield 3 and still a dual core does good. But that 6 core will run it badly. So my point is compare cpus on price amd fx 8150 vs i5 2500k.And go from there but as i said fx is bullshit and that hex core/6 core will be shit for price and even MOC would agree with me if u really want to go amd get a older phemom. And thanks for giving me some feedback on it.Its color scheme is black and blue :).And if u need any help with your build let me know im happy to help :).

Nice system bud.

My system is almost 2 years old now, but it's FAST!

core i5-750 OC'd @ 3.8
1 gig Hd + 300 gig HD
8 gig ram
GTX470

BOOM. It destroys games.

That system i mentiond there has allrdy been built. Its now in the process of been upgraded to a

I5 2500k
powercolor 7950
16 gigs ddr3 ram
120 gig boot ssd
1tb wd cavier green
2tb wd cavier green
1tb wd cavier black
750w psu
same case and mobo
blue ray drive hd capture/tv card

nice system there seems pretty quick from what i know of those parts must of cost abit.
If u think that destroys games then my new system will obliterate them.
