he took my shareastatus.com idea and ran with it heheh, I had a spike in views about 5 mins after posting the ad - but i'm more interested in the social signals it should produce after the post by rackermann:)

Since you posted your ad your already down 10 spots, if Bryan sends this out to his whole list manic it will be in no time. His cost for the blurbs (ads) and the tag along facebook/twitter likes/shares are very good. If you post ad every 20 mins you would be doing well for that price. I will be keeping an eye on the traffic flooding through there, is good potential for the right CB products I think.

This sounds like one of the easier, more efficient ways of trying to perform traffic exchange. Please update the thread with how this working out for you as I like to know as much as I can before I step into it.

The signup is really simple, step by step on the site and like genie said took a couple of minutes and my first ad was Blurbed! You can find out who shared your link by looking at what number your ad is when you add it, and it will show who shared it and weather it was shared through facebook or twitter.

The person who shared mine through twitter has 58 following, and site hits came really quick from Bryan's website and from the other members tweet as my ad was pointing to the MOC Forums homepage.

I would, but I don't have anything to promote. When I said that I wanted to know everything, I mean I am going to start gathering information on building a blog, website or forum and this would be additional information that I would have in trying to promote it.

After you have signed up you can opt in to be sent a guide on promoting products - its really detailed and thorough, without any fluff or waffle! you dont need a blog, website or product to join, the guide tells you how to promote clickbank or other affiliate products, honestly just go for it!

For me, growing and promoting a business requires investment in time and money. There are free services, and some are really good. There are traffic and exchange services, some of them such as postloop are excellent. There are paid services, which are brilliant at driving alot of traffic. When it comes to the paid services that you want to use, that is up to you as you may do better with a particular service than someone else using the same service. Then comes down to budget, time, what your willing to invest back into the business, and weather or not you consider what your doing is getting you closer to what your trying to achieve. I don't like to pay for traffic. But free traffic, all day yes thanks So this is another fine example of a free networking service that did exactly what it said it would do. Free first page ad, free traffic and a free tweet!

I've had a couple of hits directly from the site, as well as from the facebook share - hope it does the same tomorrow

I received 2 facebook likes after the Blurb too, so I'm quite happy with that!

Thought I would update my blurb tonight, it was shared on twitter by a guy with 1998 followers, so gee your name can really be spread quickly from an ad on Bryans site. Visitor numbers really good too after posting, we have a new VA join which is really great, hi and welcome to MOC, MelVirtualPA!

not so good today - got tweeted by a guy with 190 followers, still had a few visits from the ad itself though 15 hops from posting the clickbank link on my page too!

That's awesome i think for a quick free ad... All we have to do now is times that by 1000 and things will be looking good!

Well this is like the amazing widget which spun over so fast you could hardly get noticed! But this is really good he has done it well, thanks MOC for the heads up I signed up last night and I'm pretty happy with the results already

My ad didn't get shared at all today - the next poster skipped over me! bit hacked off but i guess tomorrow it could get shared on a page with 100k fans, ya takes ya chances

This thread has been fascinating to read already, so please let us know how it goes from day to day. It should be interesting to track what kind of sites get skipped over and perhaps why.

well today my post got shared 3 times, which is great - on the downside one was tweeted by a guy with 6 followers and the other by someone with 70 friends on facebook, i cant find the 3rd. I think there maybe a little bug in the system, as the post that comes up to share isn't always the last one put up. I did get more hits from my ad though so overall it's going well

Ok my blurb tonight was tweeted by 2 people somehow, both with not many followers but my blurb last night was shared on fb by a person with 290 friends. Got 2 likes for MOC web site pretty quickly and 2 new members so pretty cool for free blurbs yes hoping to get someone with 100000 on their list!

I'm posting the free ads and have been getting some leads which is good so I will keep with the free ones for a while

mine got skipped again! moc came up as the one for me to share, but there was 2 above it?

I think if they get skipped they come into the queue later? Maybe lets see how their support works and get in touch with them.. I have blurbed 5 times and been shared like 8 times, so it's working rather well for me at the moment!

Tried to share on facebook tonight, an ad that has justbeenpaid.com in the link but facebook blocks justbeenpaid.com links as being spam. Makes you wonder, what if facebook block cashblurbs.com in the same way ... that would be interesting! Do you think they may do this? Would hurt that business for sure if that happened

oooh good point! it could happen! cashblurbs would have to lose their own link at the end of the ad i suppose? i got skipped again today

Dont worry I'm sure you will get shared, the ads are just being spaced out and not processed in the direct order they are placed. The good news is, 7 more posts and you are MOC's first Extreme X member, and that is awesome!
