The temporary redirect does not give you the same SEO benefits as the 301 permanent redirect, the risk of losing traffic can mean that making no change at all .

If the redirection type is not 301 permanent redirect, then it will not help you in any SEO. Means if the redirect type is temporary then the link juice will not flow, to get SEO benefit of a redirect, the link type must be 301 permanent redirect.

Redirected traffic refers to the traffic that is redirected from external webpages to your domain with the help of links, images and widgets.
