Introducing Blog Munchies!

Unread postby » genieswish » Tue, 29 January 2013, 3:01 pm | #1 of 9 |

http://www.BlogMunchies.com is a brand new site offering complete blog management services along side an "off the shelf" article store.
Blog Munchies is a joint venture between myself and Chris Mo'e (zzz profits), we aim to fill hungry blogs with awesome content to enable them to grow into strong, powerful presences on the internet.

As Internet Marketers and blog owners ourselves, we spotted a need in the market; not only for high quality, unique ready-made articles, but also for full blog management packages that leave internet business owners free to get on with their main objective of selling their products and making money.

For any of the freelancers reading this, we are currently offering writers 80% commissions on their articles for life when they have 5 articles or more accepted for the store within the next 3 months. Thereafter the commission rates will be 70%.
The top writers will also be invited to join the Blog Munchies team and will recieve generous payments when providing custom content for our Blog Management packages.

Any questions? Fire away :)

Bit of advice please guys!

I'm thinking of starting an affiliate program for Blog Munchies, first up - good idea?
secondly, I'm a bit stumped when it comes to deciding commissions - I thought 5% was a bit mean and 10% a bit much for our profit margin to cope with - so is 7 about right? Also thinking of a second tier at around 12% to try and tempt some bigger sellers in?

thoughts please!?

I love the look of blog munchies website, it's very nice. What type of affiliate program do you want to run?

I'm thinking of the wp affiliate platform, just keep it simple http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpre ... gsite-1474

Affiliates just need to grab their link and make some sales lol

oh and thanks for the boost, it's always great to hear good feedback, I think sometimes we get too close to our own work to look at it objectively, I'm constantly doubting myself!

I would think if you want to start with an affiliate program using wp would be fine, you could always migrate to a new system down the track if you want to or need to.

I was browsing your site and articles today, and when I got to this page http://blogmunchies.com/shop/top-ways-t ... followers/ I thought I would like to see written, under this bit...

SKU: JB-06.Category: SEO & Social Media.

...the authors name and possibly links to other work they have done, to get a bearing on how the article may read. It would help to seal a sale for me, especially if I can see a link to an already published article. That was what I wanted anyway.

That's great feedback, thanks MOC - I hadn't even considered that at all!

I'm actually thinking of ditching the pre written article store and sticking with the articles written to order and guest posting services, it's a lot less hassle than selling the pre written ones then having to send the writers their cut, etc - not sure :?: :?
