I have never had any luck with Fiverr. I am a highly rated writer on some sites that I have found, but have not made a ton of money on them. How would a non-Fiverr user like myself end up getting good ratings for gigs like this?

You should not buy referrals. They are only going to cost you more in the long run. I have never done this before, but have read horror stories of one guy who bought the maximum number of referrals and never made his money back at all.

I would think this is a little odd. I have seen where they are selling quite high, but I do not think I would pay this kind of money for the gift card. Not only that if you have a checking account you can use this on Amazon now as well.

I tend to stay in the pet industry for my niche. I know this is odd, but I have owned a lot of pets so have quite a bit of knowledge about them. So I can easily come up with articles and answer questions people may have.

Can I ask what exactly is this type of program? How does it work and how do you not lose money? What do you have to do? I have never heard of these types of sites before.

Yes, Zazzle is a great option to use. However, if you are looking at the pictures and loading them for selling them directly you can find it is nearly impossible. I know a friend of mine who is a professional photographer with his own studio and still gets rejected all the time.

The independent site is nearly impossible to get noticed and you may have a long time to wait before you start to make money. However, the other sites are generally already indexed and a great way to supplement the money you make while waiting for your site to get noticed like the other sites do.

I have promoted some of these sites, but only if I learn and earn from them. For example, some of the writing sites do not provide a bonus, but I will still list them to keep balance on my site.

I do not use these types of sites because they are generally low in pay. Then in my experience getting to the payout leads to me getting either the site shut down or the site decides to go thru and change their terms of service.

I have used some sites, but mainly concentrate on my own work. Then I do not have to worry about these fly by night sites going under or disappearing like you have experienced.

You may want to consider running with the idea on your own. Then you can make even more money from the item. However, if you want to get more experience look for someone wanting to do a joint venture with you.

Oli, do any of them offer a Wordpress plugin? I should have thought about that before, but did not think it important, but now I do not want to go in and edit each page. Also can you still use Adsense?

I used to use a really small search engine called tybit. I know they had a low payout and you could use them. I agree Google is getting out of hand with what they require!

I cannot stand any of the PTC sites. They seem like you are on the site all day long, but never really earning anything. So I would have to say those are the sites I dislike the most!

Ummi, at least you have reached payout! I have tried and even when I wrote what felt like a book it was not approved for payment. I find the site as a huge waste of time!

That is some good information! I have always wondered about this site because I see the ads as well. However, when they say you pay us, I always stop as well because I am broke enough as it is! Do not need to be even broker by hiring someone to tell me stuff I thought I knew already!

For the most part they are legit, but they cannot guarantee you any money and that is in the fine print that we usually click over. However, if you carefully research each one of these sites you can find one or two which will help you in making the money they promise you can easily make.

I have done both and I really like Mturk better because the jobs are more reliable and a wider variety. I do Cloud Crowd every so often, but they are limited in the work and it usually takes longer for them to load so I do not make as much.

I have never heard of this site, but am glad I read this before finding the site. If they do not pay via PayPal something is fishy because most of the time to get rejected from this usually means you are a scam of some type.

You mean you will be having someone write the articles for you and reselling them for a profit? I have thought about this before, but I found it to be to expensive to write the articles! However, I never thought about using iWriter for sourcing them to me.

I would stay away from them and evaluate them over time. Read some different reviews on the companies to see what kind of results you are finding. Then you can know if they are legit or a scam like so many people are talking about.
