Re: How to earn money writing online?

The first site I ever submitted anything to was HubPages. It is a revenue sharing site, but also offers an Apprenticeship Program (which I have just started). I would suggest signing up with them, reading what others have written on the subject of writing, then write some of your own Hubs. If you ar...

Re: How to earn money writing online?

I have added a couple of titles to Kindle and Amazon myself, and have another to edit. I haven't made more than a few dollars with them, but as I add more I'm confident the earnings will increase. I read somewhere that if you have more than one title in bookstores (be it online or brick and mortar) ...

Re: How to earn money writing online?

I have recently applied to be a writer at Write.com; for those unfamiliar with the site, please note you will need to do an assessment of your writing skills before acceptance. There are 20 questions, plus a 100 word writing sample to be completed. I was a little surprised regarding the writing samp...

Re: How to earn money writing online?

I hope you get accepted. Is it a fairly new site or did you decide to finally give them a chance? You'll let us know how they pay out, right? I did get accepted :) and they pay through Amazon. I was given instructions to sign up with Amazon Turk but I already have an account through there so just h...

Re: How to earn money writing online?

You have been overwhelmed by responses to your thread and question, so I do not know if you need any more suggestions, but here is mine anyway. I joined this site recently and they are very good too, and you can earn money through their revenue sharing...I had my first article published their this ...

Re: How to earn money writing online?

Well, that's an article that you can simply put on your HubPage right? Or, on another site without having to spend the time on it. Yes, and that is exactly what I did. I have received several positive comments on it as well, which reinforces the fact it's not all about the title (although having a ...

Re: How You Make Money Online.

I have submitted articles to sites such as HubPges, Helium, Knoji and more. My main site right now is HubPages as I am starting to see a consistent increase in my earnings. I also post on various forums for some extra money, which has been working well. The best part is I can transfer my earning to ...

Re: How You Make Money Online.

In addition to my writing and forum posting, I very recently decided to sell ad space on my website. I am hopeful this will bring in a few extra dollars a week so I may continue to increase my revenue streams. I am aiming to reach a more widespread audience, which in turn will increase the activity ...

Re: How You Make Money Online.

One more option of making money online I didn't mention is Amazon mTurk. It is a good way to earn a few extra dollars a week; the tasks are relatively simple and the pay is decent for what you are asked to do. I have been doing this in addition to my other venues and am having some success. Like I s...

Re: Increasing Clickbank Commissions?

I would be leery to change my password regularly. With CB they generate a password for you if I'm not mistaken. I don't know how changing the password would affect your sales, as it is supposed to be a secured feature. I would be afraid to, as I wouldn't want my account frozen. Wouldn't asking for a...

Re: Increasing Clickbank Commissions?

Do they not have a security feature where you are not allowed to change any information for seven days after making an email address change? I do not remember if that is CB or Amazon. I do know I'm not about to go changing my password just to see if it generates more sales. I like the fact my accoun...

Re: Interesting ways to earn online

There are a lot of GPT sites out there; the question is which are reputable? Some have ridiculously high payment thresholds most people will never reach so do be wary of any promising riches. Personally I have found writing to be the most profitable, be it posting on forums, writing articles or writ...

Re: Interesting ways to earn online

is the draw on top of any earnings, or instead of? I just did a quick look on the site, and it appears the gift card is in addition to the sharing fees earned ($0.05 per article shared). It will take sharing 100 articles to make $5.00; not bad I guess for doing very little work. My concern is how m...

Re: Interesting ways to earn online

I just clicked on the PickyDomains site, and it does look interesting. I am not very creative when it comes to names, but there is only one way to find out if I am more creative than I think. I haven't looked any further than the first page, but will have a better look when I am finished my work for...

Re: Interesting ways to earn online

Another site which is interesting is SFI. I signed up a week ago and have been through several of the training articles and have even listed a few items. If a person can think outside the box, there are many ways to earn in addition to their basic plan. I like it because it gives me a new outlet for...

Re: Is youtube a road to money and some answers

I have not yet made any videos, much less upload them to YouTube. I do see the potential it has to earn some income though, and it is on my To-Do list. I'm a little camera shy and am unsure as to how I would go about making videos for my freelancing business. I have other obligations at this point i...

Re: Keep Spirits Up

That is really encouraging. I've just started trying to make money at home, and the biggest problem I've faced is wasting hours of my time online. It's so frustrating for me because I think, 'All that time I spent looking for leads, I could have been making money!' A journal or app to write down yo...

Re: Kindle Singles

I am not very good when it comes to fiction; nonfiction is my niche. I would like to attempt fiction one day; perhaps when we take our family vacation and I have some internet-free time (not too sure how the internet will work in the mountains). I have some ideas, but am not very creative when it co...

Re: Monetize An E-Book In 5 Steps

Thanks for this tips! Is there like an app or a software that you could advise that I use so the E-book would look more creative that people would be drawn to reading it? Dziomek, you really covered about all of it. The only thing you must remember, is that your website needs to be psychologically attractive. Google: "Psychological triggers for e-books" and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. Thank you Josh! I found a PDF called "Triggers&qu...

Re: Money On Computer - Where to Start?

Personally, I think the best way to start making money online is to do something that you get paid fast and easily. This way you will feel encouraged when you see the money adding up in your account. My suggestion is to do paid forum posting. It's easy and you earn very fast even though the pay may...

Re: Money On Computer - Where to Start?

Well, the forum posting is working out well, but the real money would be the article writing and that is what is hanging me up right now. I need to balance the two so they can both get done as the site that I want to work on has a time limit on the articles that they request and I need to find a bi...

I signed up for MyLot at one time, but quickly realized it was never going to earn me enough to reach payout. I think I earned 25 cents and I spent A LOT of time there when I first signed up. @racechick - Your first post is honest and so true! As for monetizing I'm partial to Amazon, especially if you can keep products related to your posts. Re: oDesk

There are ghostwriting assignments which are paid by the job, but the ones I looked into were paying very little in relation to the work they wanted completed. I did do some smaller assignments through oDesk, and yes, they do pay through PayPal. I was paid within a couple of days for the work I did....

Re: Online Auctions

TripleClicks has PriceBenders Auctions...the deals are incredible. I have bid on several, but have been outbid each time. Re: Payment processors, Clickbank, Paypal and problems.

I have used PayPal for a few years now and have never had any problems. I think it is a good way to go, and is much better than giving an unknown company your banking information. I do wish Amazon would start accepting PayPal though; that would be the icing on the cake.
