Re: Cloud Crowd vs Amazon mTurk?

Well, unless you are outside of the US, you can choose between money and Amazon cards on MTurk, you just need to have a minimum payout of $10 if you want the cash.

Re: Cloud Crowd?

Cloud Crowd is a mix of a site where you can get some writing and editing work and microtasks. They are a little limited in the things that they want done, but if you can do the work that they are requesting, they are a great site. You will normally know if your work has been approved in short order...

Re: Cloud Crowd?

It is a great resource of money and yes, if you can get all of the credentials, the entire site is available to you. I wish you well in working on it as all you have to do is put in the effort.

Re: Cloud Crowd?

Finally, someone sees the benefits of Cloud Crowd. It's amazing how many complaints that I hear about them. I get that people don't want to lose their credibility on the site, but those are the chances you take with all of these sites. They all have some kind of ranking system that will affect your ...

Re: Congrats On The Site Success And 100+ Members

Congratulations, MOC. You've done a great job with this board in very short time. You should be pleased as I know you aren't even halfway there.

Re: Creating a List of Similar Sites

You can add a microtask section and have: Clickworkers, Minuteworkers, Microworkers, Amazon MTurk.

You can also add Paid Forum Posting under Paid toChat.

Re: Creating a List of Similar Sites

Even though Cloud Crowd has microtasks, they are really a writing site in my opinion. They don't have enough of a variety to really qualify as a microtask site. You should at least put them in both sections as the real money is with the writing, editing and translation jobs.

Re: Do you market to Virtual Assistants?

I was just going to ask what a virtual assistant was to confirm what I was thinking that they may be. Does anyone know of the agency that is hiring virtual assistants? I wouldn't mind looking at the job requirements.

Re: Do you market to Virtual Assistants?

No, really. I do appreciate it as it can take forever trying to find all of this on your own and trying to sort through it. I had heard of oDesk and Elance before, but never made the connection. I'm glad my laziness can help you out from time to time.

Re: Do you market to Virtual Assistants?

I guess that is why I'm so hard on people coming in with nothing but a referral link. Okay, you want me to sign up? What am I signing up for? Even if I don't do it, this is supposed to be a place of information and the next one may not know the right questions to ask.

Re: do you promote programs with no referral bonus?

I think people are more willing to believe in what you have to say if you have the same enthusiasm and desire to help them, even when it doesn't "help" you. It doesn't take much to tell when a person is only out for themselves. Your purpose is to get people to read your site one way or ano...

Re: Earning by Twitter/Facebook

From the very limited information, it sounds like you would offer your page to certain businesses to advertise by writing something about them or maybe they will place an ad on your page. But, they are only going to take you up on the offer if you appear to have a very popular page. But, it's hard t...

Re: Earning by Twitter/Facebook

Well, that does look interesting and something that may be worth investing time into if you have a Twitter account. All they want are people willing to look at their sites and I guess after that, it's on the site owner to keep the visitors.

Re: Easy. Instant. Free. Viral. Traffic. - Bryan Winters

This sounds like one of the easier, more efficient ways of trying to perform traffic exchange. Please update the thread with how this working out for you as I like to know as much as I can before I step into it.

Re: Easy. Instant. Free. Viral. Traffic. - Bryan Winters

I would, but I don't have anything to promote. When I said that I wanted to know everything, I mean I am going to start gathering information on building a blog, website or forum and this would be additional information that I would have in trying to promote it.

Re: Easy. Instant. Free. Viral. Traffic. - Bryan Winters

So, will you be spreading out your blurbs throughout the day to take advantage of the ten? Or, will you continue on with the number you were previously doing? Do you think you've found the optimal time to do them or will you have even more good chunks of time with the increase?

Re: Easy. Instant. Free. Viral. Traffic. - Bryan Winters

That makes sense. If you could figure out a way to have it automated, then you could stretch them out through the 24 hour cycle and really make an impact with the placements.

Congratulations! What exactly are you selling? I guess it really doesn't matter at $5 a pop, though.

Okay, I need to go to Fiverr and see what it is that I could even attempt to sell at $4 a pop. Stuff like this, I always feel like I've come in late on, so the good stuff has been taken. :(

Re: Fiverr

That was a good link, sayan. I really got to see what Fiverr is all about at a very quick glance. Some of the requested jobs were a little extensive for the $5 payout, but everyone can choose what they are willing to do.

Well, I hope whatever your thing is will pick up to that kind of production.

Re: Fiverr

Well, I hope whatever your thing is will pick up to that kind of production. I can't deliver so many orders since my gig is a manual service, not an automated one. However, I can handle up to 15 orders a day. That's enough for me. Otherwise I will have to outsource. And by the way, my gig is SEO re...

Re: flipping sites advice?

I've been thinking about starting up a forum myself, but not so much to flip it as I think I would like to keep it and watch it grow. I hope someone will come through and answer this for you because I am also quite interested in the possibilities.
