Can anyone recommend any money-making apps for iPhone/Android? So far I've heard of NPolls and Viggle and they're OK, it just takes a while to add up. Most apps give you gift cards instead of cash, but I'm looking for something that pays through PayPal. Any input would be appreciated!

ipoll is a good app, but it goes hand in hand wiht surveyhead. You can take .10 apps whenever you are out in public. Cashout is $25 but you can also take computer surveys through surveyhead to make the money quicker. So far I've hit cashout twice.

I have great success with an app called "AppRedeem" where you would download and rate apps for points and then exchange those points for real money (paypal) or gift cards. Cashout is about $1 and since we can't post affiliate links, you'll have to look for it in Google. I usually try out the free apps for about 1 minute then rate them and delete them. So far my cashout totals are around $30.

Well one that I can think of is jingit, however it doesn't pay by paypal it pays by its own debit card. I don't personally have a debit card, I just use the money I get to buy MP3s from their music site. Other then that though AppRedeem is good, its not a regular app but it can be saved to your homepage like an app. They also run AppTrailers, which is a regular app you can download from the appstore.
For the most part the apps I know of give giftcards instead of paying by paypal, but if you want to know about those too I'll gladly tell you.

You can post an affiliate link, it just has to go in the affiliate link section. I'm not sure how many posts you need prior to being able to do that, though.

Some good ones you can earn money with are GoSpotCheck, Field Agent, and GigWalk. All of these allow you to make real money by visiting stores in your area, taking pictures of displays, etc. It's very easy and these all pay!
I used to use Checkpoints a lot and I earned a good bit of points from it that I used to get Amazon GC. With that one you basically just scan products in the grocery store and earn points for each thing you scan.

I have been using Shopkick (iPhone) and it seems like if you are out and about you can earn points quicker than if you sit at home.
How it works:
You get "kicks" for various actions you take with the app. For example, while you are out shopping, check the app to see if the store you are in is listed (lots of top name stores are) and if there are "kicks" being awarded. You can get kicks just by walking through the door.
If the store is listed then you should check in! Some stores offer extra "kicks" for scanning items, so go ahead and do it!
Finally, if you are feeling lazy and sitting at home, check in with the app a few times during the day. There are stores that offer instant surprises just for looking. I have used all my kicks for facebook credits (50 kicks is 1 credit) but they also offer gifts and gift cards that you can get with your kicks.
As a bonus...the stores listed tell you if there are any sales or special deals.
