Ok - I made this site a couple of months ago, before i did any homework and started reading up on SEO, i didn't have a clue what a keyword was, let alone how to use one! hindsight is a wonderful thing and if i knew then what i know now I would never have tried to get into such a competitive market, but I did, so I'd love some opinions - do i stick with it, grow to an authority site and try to rank, try and get traffic from sources other than google - or just ditch the whole idea and start again? http://www.showmesomemoney.com

It looks like you are developing fairly well. It's hard to become an authority, and I have no idea how much traffic you are getting, but I know some of these sites get extraordinary amounts of traffic, and hopefully you can do the same! Your site looks great, clean and sharp, I like that you review the products not just try to link to them and make a dollar. Give it time, it could grow into what you want it to be but yes it is a high competition market. It's always hard to answer a 'should I' question with a simple 'I think you should do this or that'. If your site is showing signs of decent growth over the time you have had it, I would say stick with it genieswish.

Thanks freeautolinkbot, I appreciate the feedback - it seems like an age ago that I wrote that, I did decide to stick with it and I'm glad I did - I'm learning new stuff every day that I can now apply to other projects.
Traffic is growing steadily, and I'm ranking for some pretty strange keywords - such as free s*x tube, upload porn and get paid, 100% me, funny money, for me online?, amongst others LOL.
I have set a challenge for the next few months to rank for make money online - it's tough, but a great incentive to keep going, and a good education in the world of SEO, so far I've jumped from 440 to 220, so progress in the first week is brilliant!

I think you have a pretty good site. You have a good number of posts so it won't seem like people are just automatically turned off by the lack of info. Your layout is pretty clean and I can detect a personal tone from your reviews that isn't all "sign up, sign up, SIGN UP!!!". You are at least honest that certain things won't make people rich so just stick with it and you will notice growth too, then you can see what works and what doesn't and what needs a little bit more time to try to catch on.

The blog is not too bad. It's simple and I don't feel "attacked" by colors everywhere or banner, everything is really tidy and clean . The articles seem to be well written, from what I've see.

I would eventually change some details. on the top right corner, i would choose another color for "Make Money Online – Free, Simple Ideas That Anyone Can Use To Start Earning Today!". the same for "WordPress Quotes

thanks laura - the share buttons are at the end of each post:) the daily quotes are a plug in so i can't change that, and if anyone knows how to change the tagline font/colour do let me know!
