I know many people like to use Squidoo as a good site to help promote products. However, I am curious do you do direct marketing with Squidoo or use this site as a great way to backlink to your main site you want to get to? I do a little bit of both with mixed results. What are your experiences?

Squidoo was a revenue-sharing article-writing site. Articles were called "lenses". In 2010, the site consisted of 1.5 million lenses as of October 2010. On August 15, 2014, founder Seth Godin announced that HubPages had acquired Squidoo.
